In 2024 we welcomed new arrivals with joy as we mourned those who left us behind. But now it's time to forget the past and face the future. The Apostle Paul states in Philippians 3:13 KJV:
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.
Now, forgetting is difficult. Yet, there it is plainly stated in God's Word. Many years ago, my mother counselled me at a particularly difficult time of my life to "replace my losses with new stuff". In other words, "don't waste time living in the past. The past belongs to God. We only have the present and future. Make it count for something."
While contemplating that, I have been wondering what 2025 holds for me. Many of you are doing the same, no doubt. Here is my best goal I wish to share for 2025:
David Paulides, author and film maker of the 411 Missing Series, encourages his readers and viewers to practice acts of kindness toward one another. He calls it "The Kindness Revolution".
As I leave 2024 behind, I have taken his idea to heart. Treating others in 2025 with more kindness has grabbed my attention. With help from the Holy Spirit, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
May God in His kindness grant you blessings of prosperity of health and wellness in 2025. Pray often and worry less. Grow in the spirit of Christ and follow in His footsteps to reap great rewards as He has promised. Read the Book of Revelation in the Bible, for every person who reads that book is promised a blessing by Jesus Christ! Join the 'Happy New Year 2025 | Kindness Revolution' with acts of kindness and spiritual growth. Embrace a brighter future in 2025 today! In the matchless and mighty Name of Christ, AMEN!
Your comments are welcome. Are you interested in joining the Kindness Revolution this year? I am interested to hear what your goals for 2025 might be (if any).
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8 KJV
